I am aware of rahman beating sanders, Hasim rahman destroyed prime lewis too! Did you watch the sanders fight? It was a slugfest in which sanders put rahman down twice, a rematch could just have likely panned out the opposite way.

However peter never fought either of those two, common opponents alone tell me peter was a more dangerous fighter... and chris byrd is better than all 3 of em, sanders, peter and the rock, With wins over holy (who had just stopped rahman) a masterpiece in defensive fighting over prime tua and a draw with golota! Thus the crappy era nonsense must stop.....peter and byrd alone held 3 belts, and both on there best day would do well in any era.

I do think rahman edged the tua fight though (the draw one) however he was smashed in the first. It's swings & roundabouts, an argument can be made that tua was also hosed out of a win (or at least a draw) vs ike too!
Yea i've seen the Rahman vs Sanders fight 2 times it was a slugfest, i remember there almost being a double knockdown aswell i think that was the 2nd round ? i think Rahman deserves alot of credit for that win, he showed alot of heart to win that fight.

I just think based on his booming right hand and wins over Lewis, Sanders, edges it for me. I mean i honestly can't see Samuel Peter ever beating the likes of Sanders, Lewis, even a lazy Lewis.

I haven't seen it for years but i remember Rahman, being well ahead on points vs Tua in there 1st meeting. Until 2 punches after the bell changed the fight around dramatically.

As for Chris Byrd yes an underrated fighter who was the Jimmy Young of his era, undersized but used his slick skills to frustrate the bigger guys, one of my favourite Chris Byrd fights is his schooling of Tua that was great.
