in all fairness though he was certainly not as great an impression on the sport as ali was he was no doubt a man who brought the money and attention to the boxing ring for good and bad reasons but he was one of the big names of a generation and he will not soon be forgoten!

n yeh man, Benn was in tight with the essex boys!! some say that you know how benn turned reformed christian after the mclellan fight, its been said that it also had something to do with the murders of the essex boys heads and that benn quit boxing turned christian and gott outa dodge!! not sure how true it is or how deep in with the deal that went bad he was, but its interestin:P
