What I mean is fights where the eventual loser was closing the gap and just ran out of time after 12 rounds. Had it have been an old 15 round fight they may have won a close decision or maybe even scored a dramatic late KO. Or where the loser was a few rounds behind but was more than holding his own and could have swung things around.

Don't have a lot of fights in mind myself but was interested to see what other members might come up.

For me I'll throw in an Pac vs JMM fight especially the draw, I think if Marquez could achieve a draw after that torrid first round he could have won it with another 3 rounds to play with.

Also Froch vs Kessler and believe it or not against Ward. Some of the score cards were close for both fights and Froch is powerful and tireless to the end. It has been discussed how had he started sooner against Ward the fight would have been closer and Ward was slowing down. Who knows what could have happened with another 3 rounds. Ward is an excellent fighter and I don't mean to disrespect his win with this but it's possible. Froch gets treated fairly in the US too so the result may have gone his way.

Against Kessler the way they had gone the previous 12 rounds they would have been fighting on pure instinct and a KO in eithers favour would not have been shocking.

I think the Reid v Calzaghe fight would have been interesting after another 3 rounds, Reid was well motivated that night.

Holyfield v Lewis 1 would surely have gone to Lewis after another 3 rounds but don't think I'll discuss that too much as it was such a shitty decision with plenty of controversy maybe Holyfield would have won a UD lol.

Basically any close 12 round fight could have been different after another 3 rounds but thought it would be a good topic.

Maidana v Khan

How about Mayweather v DLH, Castillo or even Cotto.
