He only got by Bika by holding, oh and running, literally! I fucking hate it when these fighters are so shit scared to fight in punching distance because they fear getting tagged that it becomes an acceptable part of their "style" that the hold, headbutt and maul. Like Holyfield and Hatton. (to Hattons credit his last fight he actually moved his head but just ran out of steam)

Infact, id go as far as to say Ward looks the most susceptible to a loss because of his desperate attempts to hold.

If anyone looks unbeatable its Floyd Mayweather, he hasnt been dropped by no bodies or need to hold or run. He can stand in front of anyone and beat them to the punch. Its not going to be a popular answer because its the easiest answer but its just the fucking truth.
Floyd doesn't hold, but he does a lot of frustrating things that are related. For instance: putting his lead elbow in your face to smother your offense, using his forearm to smother your offense, when he misses with a hook and your head is down he'll press down on the back of your neck, pushing in various ways and so on and so fourth.

Of course it's not the same as holding, but I would argue that's still in the same vein as holding.

As far as Ward, well, aren't there tactics against holders? Cutting off with angles or simply moving back, things like that? Personally I think if Ward dominates on this tactic, then it's his opponents that are failing to do something right.
