He is full of his own self importance and has dilusions of grandeur. He recently said on Sky's Ringside show that he didn't want to fight Barker or Murray as he is 'levels' above them. He mentioned this levels thing after the Elcock fight too. He also seems to think he can be disrespectful to other fighters as long as he says 'no disrespect' before starting it.

Lets be honest, he hasn't achieved any more or less than Darren Barker. Both have been European & British Champion. They both went 11 with Martinez. Neither has the better resume. So how on earth is he levels above him? Macklins performance against Sturm was on par with Murray's, but Murray got a better result. How is he levels above Murray? If he proves it in the ring I'll probably stop disliking him so much, but he's all chat and no substance.
