Broner will do it. Unfortunately.

Broner won't stay at that weight and fight bums just for the sake of it. There is no money at his weight- in fact, he is the only marketable name at that weight that we can rely on.

Broner will more than likely move up in weight or fight more catch-weights. So he won't unify- plus, he is too big for lightweight as it is now anyways!!!

I wasn't being specific to lightweight.

And I KNOW he'll move up, his next fight is at welterweight for WBA welterweight.

You must be forgetting that he can move up a weight and challenge for the title instantly.

First fight at welter and he'll likely win the belt, he'll have another before the years out. Or just after new year.

True, true... but how long can he stay at welterweight before everyone else in the division challenges him and those from 140 pounds move up?

I don't think Broner wants to face Danny Garcia, Lucas Matthyse OR an Amir Khan at 140 or 147. He is challenging Paulie Mallinaghi because Paulie is feather-fisted to start with- it's a safe step up on a grand scale.

Let's not forget tough guys like Berto, Peterson and/or Judah- who can use their strength to brutalize him.

So, Broner ran away from Donaire moving up in weight, as easy as that? hehehhhee....
