If coming down in weight is so bad why doesnt canelo go up in weight and fight andre ward which would be another mega showdown.

No I don't VD and I don't expect Floyd to go to 154 for this fight whether he has a trinket or not. What they should do is just put the straps aside and meet at 150. That way they both give a little. This could also be a lot of posturing by Floyd as the talks for Alvarez/Cotto started before this announcement.
