Hamer is too well educated and wealthy to be a boxer. He doesn't have the heart for it.

I know there are exceptions (Barrera, ect) but a guy like that, as great an athlete as he is, isn't going to have the guts that a street guy like Ruiz jr has.
That notion will always be true.. OF course there are exceptions but generally, one who had a privileded lifetstyle growing up can't succeed inside the ring..
