What was the KO of the year?

Given the quality of the opponent, and the "shock factor" in us fans at the quickness and severity of the KO...... I'd say Matthysse over Peterson has to get at least an honorable mention.

I think for those very reasons, the KO that shook the division that it happened in the most was Stevenson's 1st round KO of Dawson. The second one for me was Gonzalez's KO of Abner Mares.
