I wouldn't say he was exposed.
He was a world-class fighter defeated by some more skillful world-class fighters.
If a man has the guts to fight the best at their best, then the man's gonna lose sometimes.
Trinidad was a damn good fighter albeit 1-dimensional, but that 1-dimension worked pretty damn well! He could be out-boxed and out-foxed, but not by just anyone who had some boxing ability. De La Hoya, Winky Wright, and Hopkins: where's the shame in losing to fighters of their calibre, especially when Trinidad kept pushing the action? He showed Heart, and he kept coming ahead trying to win.
Trinidad also beat the crap out of some other pretty damn good boxers.
But yeah, old school technical boxing abilities were Trinidad's Achilles' Heel.
Thanks for the link.
