This is a crock. TR is offering a small purse if Chavez goes ahead without an extension or a "significantly larger purse" if he signss an extension. I'm no fan of Chavez, in fact I really don't like him but he is right to stand up against this extortion. TR says they shouldn't take the risk of losing money, yeah right losing money my ass, if they don't have future interests. But they have Chavez currently locked up through October of 2015! It's one thing if his contract was set to expire but that is not the case. This is ridiculous by TR. I understand how they think they can bully fighters and how it is in their best interests but it isn't right. We're set to lose another fight.
