Wilder was merciful because had it been Sonny Liston or the George Foreman of the seventies or the lightweight champ Duran, this guy would be drooling in a cup and maybe sitting in a wheel chair. Some guys have got to know their limitations. I thought Wilder although justified saw the futility of that ignorant asshole because as I have learned it between the classroom and real life racism starts at home with the rest of the ignorant people that bore these clowns like Zelenoff. Wilder has the makings of a good human.
