Wlad could be transparent, with black extremities, white torso, red hair, and a yellow and purple polka-dotted face. He's still not an ATG, IMO. For several reasons:

1. He hasn't faced a decent challenger in years.
2. He was KTFO'ed three times in his earlier years, knockouts that went mostly unavenged.
3. These KTFO losses came at the hands of fighters of little reknown otherwise.
4. He's not above fouling in the worst way, to save his brittle chin. Even if it means stinking up the ring with clinching and mauling tactics. For this he mostly gets a free pass from the ref.
5. He hasn't had that "epic" fight, where he has to get off the canvas or come back to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

I could give a shit what color and nationality he is.
He's as boring as drying paint.
And if he doesn't care, neither do I.
You can thank cyclone for bringing up race.

1. Ok I guess all those undefeated fighters he beat don't mean much.
2. He probably also lost a few as an amateur too, want to be a dear and go dig those up? The point is how he has recovered when his career was once on the line...and now he's 10 years unbeaten and a dominant champion. He avenged the loss to Brewster, Corrie Sanders is now sadly deceased, and Ross Purrity is retired (I think) but that fight happened when Wlad was in his early 20's. How many defeats did Mike Tyson avenge? Yeah, that's what I thought
3. Buster Douglas was well known, Oliver McCall, Hasim Rahman?
4. It's only a foul if the ref calls it
5. Get off the canvas to win....hmm I seem to recall Wlad beating Sam Peter having been knocked down 3 times....but that doesn't count because

Ok... we both agree this is "race-less". Beyond that...

1. Undefeated and still carrying a load of shit in your trunks on the way to the ring still doesn't mean much. Don't try to pass off Wlad's opposition as anything more than assorted trash. It won't work.

2. No need to dig anything up. The point still stands. Your comparison to Tyson holds no water. After Tyson's defeat at the hands of Douglas, it was mostly downhill from there. Wlad has been champion for a long time.

3. Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman are better known than Ross Purrity and Lamont Brewster. You won't agree 'cause it doesn't fit your agenda.

4. Typical answer. If it was Wlad getting fouled, you'd be screaming bloody murder.

5. Ahh... yes... Klitschko-Peter. Mentioned in boxing circles right along with Ali-Frazier, Norton-Holmes, Lewis-Vitali. What a fucking classic!!
