So that explains how he wouldn't get knocked out against Calzaghe , but how is he gonna land any meaningful punches and win rounds? Sure, against Groves, there's the possibility of Groves tiring , but Calzaghe kept going to the final bell against all sorts , Kessler , Hopkins, Eubank, Lacy, to name just a few. Calzaghe regularly beat guys with Froch's style , they were made for him. Easy nights work for Joe , Slappy or not.
btw, Eubank, Benn, Watson, Herrol Graham all beat Froch (probably on points) Steve Collins ?
Only Eubank beats Froch on that list. Benn was too wild to beat Froch. Wide open Nigel Benn. Chin would be right there for carl to tee-off on. Also Collings NO WAY. Herrol Graham I can agree with it would go 50/50 every time, would be a great fight.
Benn would have easily beaten Froch. I don't know why anyone doubts Benn's chin. Have you not seen the McClellan fight? McClellan hit 10 times harder than Froch ever will and Froch really isn't a big puncher. He wears people down rather than knocking them clean out. Benn wouldn't have much to worry about standing in front of Froch, but Froch sure would. Froch has never been in with a puncher like Benn. If Groves can put Froch on the canvas, Benn sure as hell would.

Eubank would have messed Froch around and toyed with him. Graham would have soundly beaten him on points and Calzaghe would have done to Froch what he did to Jeff Lacy. Watson would have taken a decision over him as well.
