I used to write poems and journals and diaries like this when I was in my teens, twenties, maybe early 30s. By the time I was 40 I realized that these are all just rantings and self-assurances and acts of loneliness and desperation, to fill a void, for example. It is better to get off one's ass and go out and actually DO something than to just scrawl and scrawl and scrawl all kinds of SELF-ABSORBED, SELF-REFLECTING, SELF-CENTERED DRIVEL, for years and years and years, and to think this guy is still doing this at the age of 70.
