If GGG is special like many people think he is, he should beat Geale convincingly. On the other hand, Geale has underrated lateral movement and GGG's supposed weakness is against movers. He also knows how to punch to the body and, although he isn't the biggest puncher, packs a half-way decent wallop. I'm probably most looking forward to this fight to see GGG in action again after his hiatus as a result of his father passing away. Geale ranks a tad bit higher than Macklin for me. If heat beats Geale, it's one more step to cleaning out the division. Top Rank and Golden Boy won't let Cotto or Canelo anywhere near GGG so at some point, if he wants the big fight, he'll need to take a risky one at the weight class above.
He's too old to be cleaning out a dead division.

    Nobody cares about this fight.

At GG's age the last thing he needs to be doing is wasting his time on a top 5 or 6 middleweight.
Dude is not a spring chicken..especially when you throw in over 300 amateur bouts.

Beating Geale means absolutely nothing...especially after the way Cotto anihilated Sergio.

Cotto in one fight has beaten better comp than GG.
Why aren't you a fan of GGG?

Who would you like to see him face?

I'm missing the connection between Cotto beating Sergio and GGG fighting Geale. Are you suggesting that GGG should face Cotto? If so, I completely agree--I'm just not sure Cotto's team will let him take the fight.
