After reading the left hook thread and the pushing vs twisting thread. I got kind of confused and wondered if this is the correct way
Straight right
1a) drive knee forward and down to the ground
1b) simultaneously pull the left shoulder back
2) arm flies out and rotate at last minute
3) clench fist on impact
4) retract
left hook
1a) Drive knee down and to the right
1b) simultaneously pull right shoulder back
2) arm comes up 90 degrees
3) clench fist on impact
4) retract
