I'd prefer to see him face Chavez jr.

I'm not that interested in the DeGale fight. Let DeGale fight for the vacant
title and establish his own legacy,
set up a big rematch with Groves, Callum Smith etc
I agree about Degale, but everybody isn't calling him out. GGG never did, that's fabricated by the Media (Mainly British) Ward never called him out, he clearly said "either call me or stop using my name!" That leaves Chavez and BHop. Yeah, they'd fight him , 1.because they're money whores 2. Because they think he's easy work, and 3. Because they see Froch make £8mill plus for a domestic dust up and would like a bit of that.
However, most importantly, the promoters aren't talking these fights up because they know the figures for Froch in the States can't compare because nobody is remotely interested in him.
Also , Hearn wants it in England otherwise he makes next to nothing.
All this means he takes a big drop in money and goes to Vegas, or he fights against Kessler and takes a slightly less drop in money in a meaningless fight.
HBO had a whole segment on Froch during GGG's last fight, quoting him to make it look like he was ducking him, then defending him and explaining why Froch is the "money" at the moment. Why would they be linking GGG-FRoch if they didn't think it was a big deal?
Chavez jr is having a contract dispute with Bob Arum, that's why he hasn't been fighting. It's a lack of American based opponents for Froch not a lack of interest in him.
Name a current fighter not named Floyd, Manny or Wlad that has been close to a £8 million payday ?

Because the media (HBO in this case ) are trying to make it into a big deal . All I've ever heard Golovkin say is that he wants to clean up the MW division, the problem is no-one will fight him. He's 5 foot 9 inches tall, giving away Height , Reach and Weight and trying to carry his power up to a naturally much bigger guy with a granite chin. If I was Froch, I reckon I would fancy that as well. What the fuck would be the point in that fight?

And I don't believe this dispute is resolved yet, so until it is , what's the point of even talking about it. the only reason it was even discussed, was to see if Froch and Hearns would bring silly money to the table which would satisfy Arum And Chavez. My belief is the deal hasn't been done because that money doesn't exist in Vegas for that fight, otherwise it would've been done.

This is exactly my point! Carl Froch is not an £8 million fighter, Whereas the fighters you mentioned would earn that no matter who they fought, the main reason he made that money in the 2nd fight was because of GROVES, not some legion of Froch Lovers.
Circumstances were perfect! in the 1st fight, Groves was Honest/Brash/Cocky/Arrogant, call it what you like, but because he backed up every single thing he said in the ring, and because in most people's eyes a.) he battered Froch and b.) he was unjustly deprived of his moment, the rematch was an absolute no-brainer! All Hearn had to do is make Froch an offer he couldn't refuse, and this was made easier because under IBF rules the Champion was entitled to 85% of the Purse. All these occurrences will never happen again, and the problem is that Froch will never earn anywhere that money again so it's naturally hard to motivate yourself. here's some examples of what he'd probably earn for certain fights.
Chavez in Vegas - £2 Million tops (don't forget that's $3.5 million)
Degale - £3 million Because he gets the Lions share as above (Froch-Groves 2) .
Kessler - £1 - £1.5 Million. this is because he will have give up his Title.
Golovkin in the US - £3 Million ($5 Million) because Golovkin is becoming big news in the States.
Ward - No money, Contract issues for Ward, and Froch wouldn't wanna get embarrassed again. no chance.

And to prove my point that Froch is not an £8 Million fighter, the most he earned before Groves was about £1.5 Million in the Kessler rematch, and that's because a.) it was in the UK and b.) he was avenging a defeat. and c.) at the time, Kessler was still seen as big news. before that , he was earning £400 - 500k per fight. I can understand totally Froch needing something to motivate him, but unfortunately he's gonna have to get his head round the fact that he'll never get a purse like that again no matter what.
