That is a bad example to make, because he was still using the ropes at 8 after that knock down.

Imagine if a power punching Light Heavy caught him and not Groves?

Stevenson gets far to much mileage out of his destruction of Dawson who had wasting disease and looked like Oscar in the Manny fight with both feet nailed to the floor. The guy does not have one elite on his lodge pole. Not one. Froch got caught up with all the emotion in the first Groves fight and lost his head. He sorted that out. Stevenson has one punch....a straight left and has fought nobody as yet that has been able to take it away. That is because he has fought a collection of gate keepers. He wont have any kind of size advantage over Carl and if Froch has anything left in the tank I could see him stopping Adonis.
You're being too technical.

CLEARLY Froch lets his guard down, now Groves is a 1 punch KO fighter but still hits half as hard as Stevenson.

Take away records and who you've beaten, Stevenson lands a biggy Froch is sleeping.

To technical? That is his money punch. Like I said I'm not sure what Carl has left but if he can muster up for this fight, he's more then even money to win it. Especially in Nottingham but it would be in Vegas. They are also the same age. Carls got a great chin and Fonfara went 12 with Adonis and ate plenty of right hands.

Carls problem could be the miles on the odometer.

He's fought,

Kessler
Abraham
Johnson
Ward
Bute
Mack
Kessler
Groves
Groves

Stevenson has been hanging out in the tomato can aisle so he's most definitely the fresher of the two.
