Oscar paid Floyd's tax and stopped him going to jail. In return he signed for him. That is what Oscar did.
Why do this? You know damn well Floyd wasn't going to jail over his taxes. That doesn't get the IRS paid. Why do boxing fans insist on spreading misinformation?

Floyd signed with him so he could get the fight against Oscar, that is the entire connection between Floyd and GBPs. And it was working well so he stuck with them after the 5 fight deal expired. Then GBPs got rid of Shaeffer so Floyd left. End of story.
