In the 1980's, I dated this girl who lived down the street from the Martin Luther King center-where some guys used to train to box. One day she jealousy went through my school bag to see if there were any other girls phone numbers- Once convinced I was faithful-she commented on how many Ring magazines I had in my bag.
To that she replied you must like that Bruce guy? Bruce who?

One week later I found out the guy Bruce who lived on the same block as her- fought Sugar Ray Leonard. His name is Bruce Finch. Well I'm sure he fought the best he could.
About a year later, when I was aware boxers trained @ the center I would always run into this tall guy who sometimes had welps or a black eye.
His name is Gerald McCellan. Once he turned pro- he started giving black eyes.
