Brook deserves a Mayweather fight over Khan!

Brook/Hearn would turndown guaranteed millions to face Floyd in favour of earning low six-figure purses to protect his belt?

If Hearn makes a serious attempt to get Mayweather in the ring with Brook I will eat my hat!

Hearn isn't only interested in one big payday, he wants lots of them. If Brook fights Mayweather now he will lose and his future earning potential will take a hit.

They can make plenty of money for years to come without risking the belts. I imagine getting the Khan fight in the UK is their number one priority. It's a massive earner and a fight Brook can win.

Brook and Hearn won't go anywhere near Mayweather.

It is exactly the opposite. He gets a career high purse, US tv exposure and can laugh at Khan. Even in defeat, he wins.

No, it's really not.

Hearn wants consistent easy money over a number of years and a world champion on the books. Sure he'd get a decent payday against Mayweather, but Brook would also lose the fight and his belt. That jeopardises the Khan fight, which is probably the biggest fight out there for Brook.

Brook is probably going to beat Rios and then fight a few stiffs for a year or two before a mega bucks show down with Khan in the UK.

There is absolutely no way he is fighting Mayweather.

Oh right, we'll not put our unbeaten boy out against the top unbeaten boy in the world for £100m, we'll hold him back for a contest in the UK against another brit whose been wacked 3 times for £1m? Brook v Mayweather is not a huge fight at all. Brook has had his belt for 5 minutes and made his last defence against Frankie Gavin. He's not some all-conquering world beater that the US networks are clamouring to see in a ring with Floyd.

Shit, and people think Khan is a hype job. Brook is a decent fighter and might turn out to be a great one, but he's got one decent name on his record in the shape of Porter, who is not exactly some top p4p King.

I don't hear Hearn or Brook making any big noise about a fight with Mayweather. If they wanted the fight they'd be making every effort to get it and they're not. I suppose there is an outside chance that something could be quietly going on behind the scenes with nothing public being mentioned until after the Rios fight, but I doubt it.
