Joe Frazier won the battle.

Muhammad Ali lost. The 'left-wing' media did praise him though he lost.

Later, Muhammad Ali said that it was the '3' white officials that cost him the fight. Ali could never accept that he lost.
It was a he'll of a fight. Ali gave a beating and took a he'll of a beating. Bryant Gumble wrote an article prior to the fight calling Frazier a white fighter in a black body. He talks about (today) he was wrong for doing it but stated that's how it was back then and Frazier just didn't grasp it. He wanted to fight, that was it. It was an interesting time and a beautiful fight. James Taylor was at the fight. I'm going to see James Taylor perform on the 17th, just a side note.
