If you said - "I'm going for an Asian," I would most likely think you meant an Indian curry house as there are billions of them in Britain (I believe it's the most popular grub here). What you would hear though for distinction is

"I'm going for a Chinese"

"I'm going for an Indian"

"I'm going for a Ruby" (slang for curry)
