Floyd's ego will bring him back into the ring and his inevitable 1st defeat

You can already see it now from his rumblings. Regardless of how much money he has made, it is absolutely KILLING him that his shine is fading. He assumed boxing would take a big hit after his departure.

I've said it before, but the "Fight Floyd Sweepstakes" but the progression of boxing (at least a chunk of it) at a stalemate for quite some time. It also had a domino/filtering effect on other fighters who had hopes of fighting other top guys.

It's only gonna get worse for Floyd, especially as more fighters and big fights get more exposure as we are witnessin now. He will come back to "prove he still the king" and get outlasted against a younger, faster fighter......unless he goes out of his way to select an opponent whom he is aware that he has many advantages against, even at his advanced age.
