If Tyson put the same amount of mass on that Hatton did between fights hed be 30 stone!
Although that ignores that on fight night Hatton was cut to the bone and Fury is fat even at his most 'ripped'... So they aren't starting from the same place even relatively speaking.

Not that I think it matters to Fury. He'll be in the same shape he normally is. Which is fine for him. But the comparison you made is a bit wonky
Even if Tyson took another stone off to get ripped to the bone hes still only lost 4 stone to Hattons 5!!!

Hattons 5,7" Furys 6,9" clearly you can see Hatton was massively overweight compared to Fury?

Hatton ballooned up to add 50% of his fighting weight on.
Yeah Hatton got much bigger as a weight percentage of course, but how 'overweight' they get obviously depends on whether their starting point was already overweight. Ie 4 stone on a ripped physique is not 4 stone 'overweight', and 4 stone more weight on someone already 2 stone overweight makes them 6 stone overweight. So your logic is a bit faulty.

Hatton probably got so fat that he got to about the same bf% as Tyson is now. So they're probably fairly even in terms of how out of shape they get. Both are fatties when they let themselves go. Hatton then used to get shredded. And Fury will get less fat.

Anyway Ross, like I say, I don't think Tyson's weight gain matters. It's not like he was in fantastic shape anyway. He'll be in the same shape as he was before and that was good enough to win.
Just an odd comparison that's all to compare a Ripped then Fat Light Welter with a Fat then Fatter Heavy.
You have to be kidding!

Hatton had no neck at points in his career! Tyson has that odd shape where he has love handles. He doesnt have a huge gut, or flabby tits or a big double chin. He accumulates fat around hips.

Fury doesnt have to cut any weight. Hes in a division where no one can have a strength advantage because they can cut more weight than the next person. Hatton when in his more natural weight division got nearly knocked out by Collazo then got knocked out by Pacquiao and Mayweather. Tyson is fighting the biggest puncher in the world and beating him easy.

Of course he was in fntastic shape. To move 18.5 stone so nimbley around the most dangerous fighter in the world for 12 rounds id say is excellent fitness!
