#1: Floyd Mayweather jr. Flashy, fast, dominate, technical...best of the last 10 years. Nuff said.
#2: Manny Pacquiao. Took me awhile...but damn he just blasts 'em out.
#3: Erik Morrales. Always loved the all heart, all guts, all boxing battler.
#4: Winky Wright. Damned right. Laugh all you want...but Wright always outsmarts 'em all...& that's what I love about a boxer.
#5: Jeff Lacy. Provided he can come back...I love Lacy...explosive.
#6: Joe Calzaghe. Technical, accurate, speedy, power, & heart...I love Calzaghe.
#7: Jorge Arce...I don't think that I really even need to get into that.
#8: Wlad Klitschko. Up & down, now that Vitali is gone...what choice do I have? The guy is skilled & he's one of the more exciting heavies of the game currently.
My last two & all timers...
#9: Bernard Hopkins. The master tactician...whether or not he's in or out...he's just my guy & he always get's me going for the game.
#10: Oscar. Oscar always has & always will be an exciting fighter...hell an exciting persona of boxing to me. He's done more in & out of the ring than anyone in the game of the last 20 years. Like my guy Bernard, whether or not he's in or out...he's just my guy & he always will be. Love him or hate him...Oscar is good for the game.
PBF, best of the last 10 years? Yeah, fuckin right. Maybe if Roy Jones Jr. had never been born, maybe then. Or maybe best of the last 3-5 years, but not ten years. By 1996, ten years ago, Roy had dominated B-hop, James Toney, and avenged his DQ loss to Montell Griffin. By 2006, PBF has gotten one gift decision against Castillo, avoided fighting Tzyu, beaten Gatti, Judah, Corrales, and is preparing to face Baldomir.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
