The Wlad he fought was several years off his best and back over a year after a pretty dire performance at a really old age. It is smoke and mirrors IMO. The last two performances tell us where Joshua really is and even against that really old Wlad he was out on his feet for several rounds. The Michael Grant comparison sounds apt. Povetkin, Wilder and Fury all beat him IMO. It makes sense that he doesn't want to go to America, he wants to stay home and try and maintain what he has. The clock is ticking already as far as I can see.
