The other night my friend Dave and I were talking about this topic. He is having surgery today on his neck and we were joking about him waking up paralized.

My cousin went in for back surgery a few years ago and they knicked her spinal cord and she can't walk now. She got a huge settlement.

I said that if they knicked my spine and I got rich it wouldn't be so bad. All the things I like to do can be done sitting down. PS2, watching the fights... orf course if they knicked him he would be stricken from the neck down which would be horrible.

Somehow the converstion got around to would you rather be blind or deaf. That dummy picked deaf. He said he loved music too much and he woudl want to hear his g/f say I love you. I said that I love to read poetry and asked him if he knew how bad he'd get his ass whipped in fight night if he were blind. Then I said "well, no worse then you already do really."
