I think its a tributed to the history of a fighter. Calzaghe is usually very impressive, has a bad night and still wins. take fighter B who might never have ever been tested , steps up and gets his ass kicked. its easier for one to assume fighter B was just overrated because he has no history. see what I mean? if fighter B had a history of winning tough fights and thus has one bad outing most people would feel he had an off night. sometimes your flat on fight night, it happens in boxing, for some reason things just don't come off right. The thing one has to do is find a way to still win the fight, and Calzaghe did that. I was impressed, Calzaghe was flat no question but he still found a way to dig deep and win the fight. Bika was very determined and motivated. It's a good win
But why do some fighters get the benefit of an 'off night' while other fighters that are less liked get the 'overrated' ratingShouldn't all fighters be attuned to an 'off night' or two?
