I hate fights like the Diaz fight. It’s just one sided and not really that entertaining. It might be entertaining for the first 3 rounds, but you get to a point where nothing changes and the result is in the bag.

Vargas has never been a great fighter. His weight class isn’t super stacked necessarily. They have a good amount of good fighters but no one great (other than maybe Rigo but you can never tell with him). I think he will lose once he steps up in competition though. He has struggled with lesser fighters too often.

Good job for Cancio. It looked like it would be an easy night for Machado, but Cancio showed grit and ended up making it an easy fight for him. I’m going to guess this will be his big win and won’t win another big fight. That’s fine though. He got his time in the spotlight.
