Toney was soft as my a*** in that fight.
You must have buns of steel then, cus Toney looked to be in pretty good shape to me. He wasn't ripped, but he rarely is or has been aside from the Adolpho Washington fight. Toney was just flat out beat, out slicked, out speeded, out gunned, out boxed. The point wasn't that Lacy was outta shape, he wasn't, just sayin that Toney used an excuse and it should not detract from Jones' win.
Toney uses it as an excuse when he's hyping a fight. Otherwise he says that Roy beat him fair and square and hands down.

But if credit is taken away from Roys victory against Toney because of weight issues. Then Calzaghe's credit should be taken away from beating Eubank who was also battling weight issues. He hadn't fought at Super Middle for the last 2 years and had weight issues going into that fight. Why do you think the rest of his fights after that one were at cruiserweight
Eubank was dealing with alot of things, and he never was as good as TOney imo, and he was past his prime when he fought Calzaghe where as Toney was at his pinnacle when he fought Jones who was still rising.
