Fair enough, but what if the top guy won’t fight? He’s begged pretty much every top guy and they all say no. Should he just retire?
I don’t hear Russell call out top guys. He is pretty silent. I’ve heard him say a few things before about fighting a guy here or there, but overall he has no ground to stand on unless he is actually fighting which he isnt. I have no sympathy for him whatsoever. He has done this to his own career.

Maybe some of the other featherweights are ducking him. That’s a possibility, but that doesn’t mean that the opposite isn’t true also.
