What worries me. Is how this one virus (1st in my lifetime) has mutated or it's offspring has produced so many different kinds in under what? 1 year and a1/2 at best?

so if we blame china for wuhan, do we blame Peru for lambda? The delta region for delta? Strong males for alpha?

does the current vaccine work for all these? Or will we find ourselves a year from today taking booster shots for several variants?
3, 4 shots per 1/2 year? 6-10 shots a year?
At what point do we discuss the immune system's ability do at least handle some of the work? Or do we resign and just depend on bigpharma so lovingly giving us this without a nominal fee?

Whatever is in the vaccine seems to be working. However we are treading close to self herding thinking we have only one option- big pharma.
That is what worries me. How are they so able & so willing to give it to us -across the planet earth...free of charge.
