Wlad has been under pressure since he started boxing...he went to a special school, he had to be the best or else he would be kicked out
He had always appeared tentative when it came to finishing. You just have to look to the Peter fight as evidence of that. When he had Peter
ready to go after an evil left-hook, Wlad just backed away and kept his distance not willing to go in for the kill. He even looked tentative when
he K.O.'d an over-the-hill Mercer.
In other words, he doesn't have the killer-instinct of a prime Tyson, Holyfield, or Frazier; all of whom where spectacular finishers when they had
someone in trouble.
I just don't agree here. Against Peter...yes maybe he was tentative...but who wouldn't be after taking that abuse.
He's just an accumulative finisher. Jab after jab & then the left hand. I think that being slow on the kill is a totally different thing.
Just my opinion.
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
