Generally agree with Oumafan on this. I don't think Torres hurting his hand had (if true) had a bearing on the fight though. Torres just looked very technically flawed--the problem wasn't that he wasn't throwing enough because of a hurt had; the problem was that his punches are all loopy and telegraphed, his balance is HORRIBLE, his defense sucks, and he's slow. He's just a mediocre fighter. I'm not sure this necessarily bodes ill for Cotto though, because Torres does have some power, and Quintana doesn't really. The fact that Cotto let himself get hit so much by such a limited and flawed fighter, however, may be a bad sign for the Quintana fight, since Quintana is a pretty technically proficient fighter.
