Why doesn't he fight someone already? Rematch John, do something!
That's precisely what I was trying to point out. Believe me folks, I know Jaka, he's one of our own and definitely not any of Marquez' worthy contender. But of course as a fellow pinoy, I'd be wishing for an upset but that's almost as good as wishing for the sky - and in case you didn't know, that's the limit.
Look...I aint trying to pull out the dick on both of you...but there was no one else...Marquez was set up to fight Harrison & he went to jail.
You all have to remember that Marquez was ranked as the number one contender for the WBO feather strap & when legal troubles started up with Harrison...Marquez tried to keep busy playing the waiting game & headed off to a loss in Indonesian with Chris John.
Harrison then went to jail & Marquez had to take what he could get out there.
Jaca stood up & then sat down due to his visa...then stood up...sat down...& stood back up...I'm hoping...no offense to the Phillipines that JMM puts him on his a**...for good.
Marquez is keeping busy...but he's the number one guy & Pac has opted for MAB...so what else is there to do?
THere's no Harrison...so where else should he go? You can bet that he's waiting out the winner of Pac Barrera II...can you blame him?
Again...not trying to be a know it all...but JMM is just palying the waiting game...I would think.
Don't get me wrong, Wacko. I want to see the rematch more than anything else but only for the reason to prove that Pac can beat the man fair and square. I've been irked or more better pizzed off to hear that JMM can beat Pacquiao, who treated the fight as a tune-up match, just for the sole reason of the comeback, as spectacular as it may have seemed (though I have found a good reason for Pac's failure there and I'm now seriously looking for that important piece of evidence to prove it but unitil then I am keeping my big mouth shut coz I don't like to look like a fool), and with all my respect for JMM, I believe almost 100% Pac can beat him in 5 rounds or less, and of course you're entitled to your big laff here
. I'd been hearing almost the same thing after the 1st Morales fight that one-dementional Pac can never beat Morales but good for Pac, he proved them wrong. But as much as you and me want our respective revenge(s), JMM is letting it slip away from us. Remember, boxing is still a business, and it needs lot of hype, publicity to sell. Marquez and Pac went on completely different directions after their fight. While Pac fought lots of good fights and has clearly become a superstar, Marquez chose the road to obcurity and THIS IS THE REASON that has pizzed this poor pacfan. He can't rely on that spectacular comeback forever, though remembered by many fans but being buried gradually by his subsequents lackluster fights. He's got to do something spectacular, he's got to get some attention, he needs a big publicity to push himself up in line to Pac - and remember, there are plenty of them already lining up with some trying to come in with self-promotion (and who's this kid who's trying to promote Joan Guzman on his thread and got everyone here pizzed off with his antics and geezy, I can't believe it, he's gotten himself 6 pages on the last count, that's genious, he got all of them fooled!) It's not that Pac don't want him, its simply just he's got nothing much to show now to sell the fight in the eyes of promoters. And fighting a kid like Jaka won't help much either.
But I've got one good fighter who can help his cause. I think it will be Oscas Larios, a tough guy whom Pac breezed through on the performance rating of 6 - as Fred Roach puts it. Larios came from notch behind Marquez' weight class to climb two notches to that of Pac's so I think it won't be dificult for him to go down to a featherweight. Marquez can try to show something spectacular against him to get notice of the fans and, more importantly, of the promoters. This may be his last chance and time is fast running out on him. Let's just hope he will.
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
