I don't think he needs to chase Floyd. That could be his demise. I think he has the right Idea about staying inbetween weights right now. If he can get a shot at Corrales-Castillo before Floyd or Zab, take it, then you are still in position if you win, to fight a big fight at welter because you just beat a great fighter. If Floyd or Zab opens up first, take that. Or, Gatti. He has alot of oppurtunities right now, to waste it chasing one guy. As long as he stays active, he'll be alright.
