Boxing, of all the sports, is the one most stuffed with triumphs and tragedies - along with the others already mentioned, there are Sonny Liston, Primo Carnera, Johnny Owen, Michael Watson, Gerald McClellan, Leeavander Johnson, Ike Ikeabuchi ......... and I think Muhammad Ali, too?
