Cmon bro, you can't call what Toney threw most of the time punches. Peter had friction burns from being rubbed so often by Toney's gloves. JFAT didn't show any promise of rattling Peter at all first time out, and unless he gets the steel chair out from under the ring, while Don King is standing in the corner distracting the referee, then I can't see him troubling Peter this time either.
You honestly don't think he so much as troubled Peter the first time?? THat's crap imo... Peter looked absolutely hopeless at times, he was thouroughly discouraged, gassed out badly in several instances, and by the championship rounds he looked like a beaten man, who was content to just finish the fight.. PEter was cut and busted up worse than TOney, just because he landed a few bombs and generally the harder punches doesn't negate the fact that Toney was far more consistent and won several more rounds at least... Toney by a more convincing decision this time around, just wait and see.
I will indeed wait and see, but in my opinion, and the judges opinion, Sam Peter threw more damaging punches more often than Toney's pawing shots, and it is my belief that he'll do it again.
Dont think anyone is going to argue that he threw the more damaging punches, but the more often part, or the insinuation that he landed enough of them to win the fight, are where you are incorrect imo... PEter landed roughly 5 of these punches in the entire fight, and because of that he probably won all rounds in which he did land these... But aside from the occasional bomb, he was definetly outboxed. I agree that Toney threw far less meaningful punches, but he was also alot more active and definetly won more rounds.... I don't see how anyone can have recently watched the entire fight and would say Peter deserved anything but to lose.. It would be like my saying that in my and 3 judges opinions, Chavez threw the more damaging punches more often than Whittaker and deserved the draw.. It doesn't quite work like that.
