Puerto Rican Wilfredo Benítez (53-8-1, 31 KO), known as "The Radar" due to his defensive skills, became a World Boxing Champion at the age of 17 beating Colombian Kid Pambelé. At the age of 22 he had titles in three (3) different weight divisions and a record of 41-1-1 with 25 KO's. In addition to Pambelé, he fought names such as Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Durán, Thomas Hearns, Davey Moore, Mustafá Hamsho and Carlos Palomino, among others.
