Mosley fought a great fight, but I wouldn't get carried away. Oscar didn't fight a very smart fight that night. He just came straight ahead, standing upright. He made it easy for Mosley to counterpunch. Oscar didn't show Mosley any angles or variety. I think Oscar was trying to prove the people wrong who criticized him of "running" against Trinidad, so against Mosley he made a point to do just the opposite.Originally Posted by albsur2006
Mosley was a great fighter in his prime, but he did have some flaws. I think welterweights like Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard, and Pernell Whitaker would've beaten Mosley on that night.
