In the 50s I beleived SRR was the greatest, thats what my peirs told me, plus I hadnt a clue what shaped my beleives. Then I became involved and through the years having the good fortune to work and rub shoulders with some incredible people, who put a different slant on things, people who were there in the thick of it. Telling a slitely different story about history of the time I first listened then went looking and on the way got a few shocks it happens to us all. One thing that I couldnt get out of my head before all this was, how could the greatest fighter of all time not work when made to move to his right ?. I beleive at welter Hearns Leonard Burley all beat him
If anyone asks me which Welterweight in history would of caused SRR all the trouble in the world and may even beat him i would say Leonard cause of his speed.

Id say Sweetpea would of caused him trouble too cause of his defensive style.

Hearns i dunno i feel SRR would of beaten Hearns cause Hearns didnt have the best of chins and SRR could hit hard.
