I think they were all scared of Roy because he was that good, and that hard of a hitter. While Floyd doesn't have that power so people are lining up around the block just waiting for him to get a little slower.
roy jones is my all time fav...pbf was second then shane..after pbf talked that shit about shane he dropped to three....there's no way in hell floyd can just retire without being scruntinized for not fighting cotto, mosley, hatton, margarito, williams,...no way in hell he would just be a great fighter that retired to protect his record..if he beats oscar that is....

because roy would have fought collins, benn, eubank, calzaghe, darius, all tham had they come to the states..but they didn't and that's not roy's fault so he really shouldn't critized at all..now floyd on the other hand..those aforementioned fighter are in the states already so there no way he can retire with fights like those on the table...
