No idea how Mickey Vann had Kotelnik by 5 rounds, but very entertaining, and everybody ends up with nothing in the prediction comp!
Next up Kevin Mitchell v Harry Ramogoadi, here's a preview I made earlier.
Kevin Mitchell v Harry Ramogoadi; Commonwealth Super-Featherweight Title
KEvin Mitchell (22-0, 15KOs): The big puncher from Dagenham took the title with a 12 round tight decision over African George Ashie back in October, and now returns to the ring with what appears to be a significantly easier bout against journeyman Ramogoadi. Mitchell is one of the hottest properties in British boxing, and is famed for his all-action style that relies more on hurting the opponent than fending those shots off. He'll start as a big favourite, and should cruise past Ramogoadi.
Harry Ramogoadi (17-6-2, 3 KOs): Ramogoadi comes into this one having recently lost a family member, and is promising to upset all the odds and beat Mitchell. The South African gave Nicky Cook a tough fight after stepping in for the jail-bound Scott Harrison, but has two defeats against Choi Tseveenpurev and another prospect John Murray. He does, in the distant past have a win over IBF champ Malcolm Klassen, and a draw with Thomas Mashaba, but these were 5 years ago. If he wins I'll eat my hat with some roasted veg and an onion gravy.
