People’s middleweight champion Edison Miranda is not shy about discussing this topic.

“The middleweight division always had proud champions willing to fight everyone, like Marvin Hagler, Carlos Monzon, and Sugar Ray Robinson,” said Miranda. “Now we’re stuck with paper champions like Jermain Taylor and Arthur Abraham, who are disgracing this division.”
