This shows how insane Roy JOnes Jr. must have been athletically to keep almost all his speed moving up to light heavyweight, and he had to almost gain 45 pounds from the weight he entered boxing, and he was more than 20 pounds over his walking around weight when he slowed to aquivalently to what PBF has at his walking around weight... I think even more now that juice was involved in Roy Jones Jr.'s career and I don't mean Sunny D.
I get what you're saying, and Floyd isn't as fast. But, when I first read your post, it sounded like you thought Floyd lost his speed. Judah and Floyd are both as fast as little guys, it just isn't going to look that way against each other. You mentioned Roy. When Roy didn't have to use his legs he didn't, but he usually did. Floyd can fight inside better than Roy ever could, and don't have to rely on his feet. This, IMO, was the downfall of Roy. When you don't get hit for years because you can get away, and then your legs slow, how can you expect to take a punch? Floyd may never reach the status as Roy, and may not carry his speed as well as Roy{with or without the juice}, but Floyd is better all-round than Roy, simply because he is better on the inside.
