Sorry mate, but I'm inclined to disagree. I didn't think Floyd was active enough early on, except for the first round, and Floyd's own jabs were often caught on the gloves by De La Hoya. In the last three or four rounds Oscar did tire, and Mayweather then looked much better. At the end of the day, it was Mayweather's unwillingness to throw early on that made it a tight fight. You can't win rounds when you're not throwing enough punches.

You seem to be judging it on the last few rounds, and De La Hoya had a handy lead at the halfway mark.
