I wasnt quite sure were else to put this...but ah well.

Hey there all. Ive been lurkin on the forum for a while but i figured i would join and give my two cents worth.

A few things about me in relation to boxing

I have been boxing since i was about 15 (im now about to turn 18 in like 24 days)
albeit i have never had any ring time due to school and injuries.

I am one of the few fighters that can box both Ortho and Southpaw. I prefer boxing in a Southpaw stance, but only because i feel that leading with your more powerful hand is more logical. I am naturally right handed and it has made for an interesting mix.

I prefer to mix my fighting up. I can duke it out in close range, but it has to be REAL CLOSE, like head butting range before i can get my rhythm going there. I can also dance and i take my footwork from various sources (Bruce Lee being one of them), but my love of making another fighter look amature is why i prefer to box outside than inside.
I will dominate the mid-range if i train harder

I have a knack for mimicking what i see and getting it right the first time.
For instance, the first time i saw a cross-counter (easier for a southpaw to achieve) i really wanted to try it and master the biomechanics of the move. I landed it in sparring 1st opportunity that showed up. It was more of an over hand sorta punch as i wasnt sure how much to slip the cross but it still worked and now i have moved onto bigger counters.

I really like the fact that everyone on this forum seems to have some form of knowledge or expertise in Boxing and (from what i have seen) i know that if i want advice, i will get it here.

Hope everyone will appreciate my presence here and ill try my best to contribute.

Cheers,
