In the world of boxing, with all the rough heavy hearted fighers out there, sergio mora is a bitch. Maybe compared to Normal civilians he isnt. But in the boxing world, when gatti, ward, holyfield, lewis, name is mentioned you better believe that sergio moras name will not be involved, why? Cuz those men arent bitches. Those men fought, whether it was their home turf, or not, whether those men were ready or not..Those men fought. Not cry because the fight isnt gonna be in his momma's kitchen, so to say it once more.
Sergio Mora= Beyotch
I think Mora is a pretty decent boxer but I tend to agree with you. At least Manfredo gave it a shot... Those are once maybe twice in a lifetime opportunities to fight for a title!
Manfredo stepped up, got embarrased and is now back fighting the Ted Muller's of the boxing world.

Sergio did the right thing. He ain't ready for a world title shot yet, he's not even had 20 fights yet.

Give him time.

He's already beaten Ishe Smith, Manfredo twice, Jesse Brinkley, Erick Regan and Turmeliksetian.

Its's way beyond where Ricky Hatton was at after 19 fights.
ok, peter manfredo(again im not a big peter lover)to the calzaghe fight in wales, and got beat up. BUT, at least he did what boxers do, and thats use the chance given to them, peter may be fighting ted muller's of the world...Sergio didnt take the taylor fight cuz he was scared, and he's fighting jovaL? WOW ur right, Sergio sure outpointed everyone else in his career choices there. lmao
Cmon....Give me a break. You kno mora wont beat taylor, he knows he wont beat taylor, he is trying to ride the latin fake gravy train as long as possible over there in Cali. He is not only afraid to fight the best out there, but he is afraid to be exposed too.
No I don't agree at all. Sergio wasn't scared he was just thinking smart. He knew he wouldn't get a decision in Memphis and was unhappy with the last minute switch of venue so he turned it down.

To me that wasn't the mark of a scared man, it was actually evidence of his self belief and confidence that he can make a mark in boxing.

If he didn't think he had a chance to win a world title he would have gone for the payday and grabbed the first title shot that came along before he got exposed fighting a top 10 ranked fighter for a lot less money.

I like Sergio and think he has a chance beating some of the top guys at 160 lbs. His career s coming along nicely although he could be a little more active.
